This year marks a significant milestone in the European research landscape: the 30th anniversary of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). Named after the pioneering Polish-French scientist who discovered radioactivity and remains the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific fields, the MSCA has become a global benchmark for research excellence. Since its inception, the program has supported over 150,000 researchers, fostering international mobility, cross-sector collaboration, and groundbreaking discoveries.
The HumanIC project is proud to operate under the MSCA umbrella, contributing to this prestigious legacy by addressing one of the most critical challenges in modern healthcare: hospital environmental design. While traditional approaches to hospital ventilation and heating focus primarily on the building’s mechanical systems, HumanIC is pioneering a human-centric indoor climate (HCC).
