The Technical University Berlin was the venue for the second Cohort Based Training focused on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) within the healthcare sector. Over four days, participants delved into a comprehensive curriculum:
- Day 1 kicked off with a project progress and sharing meeting, fostering collaboration among attendees.
- Days 2 and 3 were dedicated to in-depth scientific training on contamination control and measurement techniques. Experts from TUB, along with guest lecturers from Avidicare, Charité, Activtek, and DS-ABT, covered critical areas such as particle physics, the measurement of airborne particles and microbial contaminants, effective contamination control strategies, and the vital processes of qualification and validation for cleanliness in healthcare and pharmaceutical facilities.
- Day 4 shifted focus to research and professional skills, including working effectively in collaborative environments, understanding ethical considerations within hospitals, and developing skills for peer-to-peer activities.
