Cohort Based Training 1 for Doctoral Candidates (24 – 25.03.2025) Warsaw

Cohort-based trainings (CBT) are organized for several key reasons, all aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and impact of a consortium’s research and training program. First of all, to brings together the whole consortium every 6 months to enable sharing and review of project progress and to allow the DCs to undertake structured training together that is appropriate to the stage of their program. With the exception of CBT7, day 1 of each event will involve all DCs and all partners, while the subsequent days will involve the DCs and those partners involved in delivering training. By engaging all DCs in program reviews from an early stage we will instil an understanding of how their projects relate to the wider program goals and will enable the cross-field interaction through the network. At months 12, 24 and 36 the program reviews will take the form of a whole consortium meeting, while at months 15, 30 and 42 they will be higher profile events with external stakeholders to provide the DCs with experience in presenting research and hosting events.

The first Cohort Based Training was taken placed at the Warsaw University of Technology. The time duration of the training was 5 days and each day was dedicated for the following topics:
