Objectives: This DC project aims to characterize the dynamic airflow pattern and heat/mass transfer in surgical site microenvironment control in operating rooms.
Expected Results: Gain fundamental knowledge of the airflow distribution and heat transfer in the microenvironment; Experimental measurement results of micro scale turbulent airflow velocity distribution; Models of heat/mass transfer in the surgical site microenvironment in ORs.
