Project title: Continuous Monitoring of Airborne Pathogens in health care facilities

Objectives: The project aims to develop a web-based system to allow monitoring of indoor air quality conditions in health care units focused on the concentration of airborne pathogens.
Expected Results: Acquisition of a large dataset including data about indoor air quality, outdoor air quality. Understanding of health risks due to spatial and time distributions of pathogens. Definition and hierarchy ordering of preventing strategies to minimize health risks. Development of design strategies and control tools for improved climate conditions in healthcare units. Development of teaching tools and courses to be used in the training of professionals involved in the different types of tasks dealing with the air quality and health risks in healthcare units.
